Durex busca probadores oficiales en su nueva campaña de Facebook – thnxz @socialetic


La acción “Buscamos probadores oficiales Durex”, con la que Durex busca a 50 españoles que se quieran convertir en probadores oficiales de sus productos, ha recibido en apenas una semana, la solicitud de 31.874 candidatos.

La iniciativa ha tenido, además, gran repercusión en los medios de comunicación, con más de 150 menciones en prensa, radio y medios digitales.

La insólita campaña, desarrollada por Pavlov, responsable de la estrategia creativa online de Durex desde 2011, surgió después de que el último “Informe Durex de Bienestar Sexual”, revelara que el 70% de los españoles afirma sentirse satisfecho con su vida sexual y que el 84% cree que sus parejas son buenas proporcionándoles placer. Unos datos que elevan a España a la categoría de país sexualmente activo, y convierten a sus ciudadanos en los mejores embajadores de los productos Durex.

A través de la app que Pavlov ha desarrollado para la página de Facebook de Durex, http://bit.ly/ProbadoresDurex, cualquier persona mayor de 18 años puede presentar su solicitud para convertirse en probador oficial hasta el 17 de abril. Para convencer al jurado, los participantes deben explicar por qué se consideran buenos candidatos para probar estos productos y comprometerse a facilitar sus opiniones sobre la experiencia a Durex, que se reservará el derecho de hacerlas públicas. Los elegidos recibirán el “Kit del Probador Oficial”, que incluye algunos de los productos de nueva creación de Durex.

Esta es otra muestra de las acciones que Durex lleva a cabo y que han convertido a esta marca en uno de los referentes de Facebook en España. En un tiempo récord, Durex ha conseguido el tercer puesto en número de fans en nuestro país y el primero en interacción con sus seguidores, según SocialBakers.

Además de Durex, Pavlov es la agencia creativa online de otras marcas del grupo Reckitt-Benckiser como Vanish, Nenuco y Veet. El equipo de Pavlov que lleva la cuenta de Durex está formado por Josep Maria Ferrara y Ferran Clari, como máximos responsables creativos y de gestión de la marca, respectivamente, y lo completan Álvaro Malmierca, Patricia Flores, Iker Larrinaga, Trini Rodríguez y Àlex Marull.

NielsenThe solution, like here in the U.S., allows advertisers to measure the ability of online ad campaigns to reach their intended audiences with a never-seen-before degree of accuracy, and in real time.

Leading to the launch, tests of Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings in the UK show that on average less than half of all online ad impressions are reaching the advertiser’s intended audience, based on age and gender.  In one test campaign it found that ads for an innovative consumer product aimed at young women were completely missing their intended audience and actually being viewed predominantly by older women and by men.

The trials also show there is a big variance in performance between different online publishers and networks.  Campaigns are running very successfully on some sites, with more than 80% of impressions reaching the advertiser’s intended audience; on other sites though, it’s as low as 15%.  Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings tells advertisers in real time which sites are most effectively delivering their campaigns, allowing them to use their media budgets more efficiently by switching ads from failing sites to more successful sites while campaigns are still ‘in flight’.

These early findings from UK campaigns mirror the results from more than a thousand campaigns in the US, collected since Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings launched here in August 2011.

The offer means that investors in SSL will receive 1,686c for every share, along with the proposed 11.6c per share of SSL’s final dividend of the year ending 31 March 2010.

The offer price and dividend represents roughly a 32.8 per cent premium to the SSL share price as of 20 July, according to Reckitt Benckiser.

Bart Becht, chief executive of the company, said that acquisition of SSL would provide a step change to Reckitt’s global health and personal care business.

New Ads Explain the Science Behind Clearasil

Clearasil is dropping its humorous approach in ads, in favor of spots that espouse the “science” behind the skin care brand’s products.

A new campaign, called “The Science of Looking Awesome,” breaks today (Monday), and is part of a global effort by the Reckitt Benckiser-owned brand to pitch its products to a slightly older consumer group. Until now, Clearasil—best known for its acne-fighting properties—has been a favorite among teens. But according to Reckitt, 18- to 21-year-olds tend to use the products.

That’s why Reckitt decided to change the tone of its ads, said Sabrina Rodgers, Reckitt Benckier’s marketing director for personal care products. In a commercial that ran last year, titled “Lipstick,” a teenage boy asks a girl if he can “borrow her lipstick,” and kisses her on the lips. (Tagline: “May cause confidence.”) In contrast, the new spots, via HavasEuro RSCG in New York, show how Clearasil’s acne-fighting properties help clear up skin.

One spot, for instance, shows a young woman walking into a lab-like bathroom. “It’s 10 p.m. and Kate’s face is breaking out. So she uses new, Clearasil Overnight Lotion,” the voiceover says. The ad touts Clearasil’s latest product launch, which hit shelves in January. Print ads, likewise, build on various scientific claims. Both the print and TV ads use graphics, such as diagrams depicting chemical bonds.
