55 Ways to Relax After Work

Although it can be difficult to rally enough energy after a tough day, sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to get off the couch, turn off the TV and find something better to do (sorry to sound so much like your mother, but she was right). If you’re drawing a blank on what else to do with your time, don’t worry. We’ve got a few ways to relax that will help you feel less like a soulless blob and more like a happy, fulfilled human being… [Más…]

1. Just go to sleep.
2. Take a bath, soak in a hot tub or relax in a steam room.
3. Change into your comfiest clothes.
4. Listen to soothing music.
5. Cook one of your favorite recipes for dinner.
6. Go for a walk in a park or take a short hike.
7. Kick it up a notch and go for a run instead.
8. Play a sport with friends like Frisbee golf, soccer or basketball.
9. Try yoga or do some gentle stretches.

55 Ways to Relax After Work

Do you ever feel like a zombie after a long day at work? You feel so depleted and tired. You hardly have any energy left at all. The only thing you want to do is eat comfort food, pop open a brewski and watch television until bedtime.

We’ve all been there. Zoning out in front of the TV can be a great way to relax, but more often than not, it just makes you feel even more useless. Sitting immobile on the couch for extended periods of time can reinforce your own sense of helplessness and exhaustion, especially if it becomes your regular evening routine.

Nike’s Tiger Woods Apparel Line Snubbed by Consumers

Tiger Woods fans have put up with the philandering, the text messages and the domestic spats. Now comes what may be the hardest thing of all to tolerate: Losing.

Woods has played through the year without a single tournament win, putting him at 83rd on the PGA Tour’s money list. As his performance slumps, so have sales of his apparel line through Nike Inc., according to retailers Golfsmith International Holdings Inc., Roger Dunn Golf Shops and Golf Discount Superstore.

B330-Rx Golf Ball Designed for Average Players

You are not Phil Mickelson. So why are you playing his golf ball and expecting the same results? “You don’t use racing slick tires on your Honda Accord,” notes Brandon Sowell, director of marketing for Bridgestone Golf. With that in mind, Bridgestone has bucked the industry norm of simply selling weekend duffers the balls their favorite pros use. Instead, it has created the B330-Rx ($43 for a dozen), a ball designed for average players.

Weekend golfers generate far less club-head speed than PGA Tour players do — typically, 80 mph versus 120 mph — and their swings aren’t as consistent. The B330-Rx is engineered to account for that, performing like a pro-style ball for an amateur’s game and providing better distance and accuracy.

Virtual Tiger Woods Takes A Tumble

Electronic Arts, the video game maker, made a point in recent months of standing by Tiger Woods, even as other companies withdrew from sponsorships.

The company continues to publish the Tiger Woods PGA Tour game. But at least in the short term, the game is following Tiger’s own golf results: not as good as they have been in the past.

NPD Group, which tracks video game sales, said that first-month sales of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 were down 32 percent from the previous version of the game a year ago.

Tiger Woods is getting grilled on April 5th.Tiger made his tightly controlled statement about his car accident. And then recently gave quicky, 5-minute interviews to a small pool of news outlets this weekend, days after his former mistress dumped a pile of his salacious sex texts on the web.

But three days before he competes in the Masters, he needs to address his scandals, how it has tarnished his brand and the golf business, and what he plans to do next in his first official press conference since he disappeared from the game.

He is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. local on April 5 at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, according to the club’s announcement.

Here are the questions Tiger must answer >

Tiger Woods Finally Answers Some Questions

Tiger Woods finally allowed a reporter to lob a few questions his way (Tom Rinaldi, ESPN).  A few challenging ones about the car accident and his wife Elin’s behavior, which he handled well by ducking (That’s “private.”).   A good response to a question about the reception he expects from fans at Augusta: He’s nervous about it.

All in all, better than a complete stiff-arm.  Also a good parry to the horrifying text messages porn star Joslyn James released last week.
