1. Preview the New Design Now

If you haven’t already, visit one of your Facebook pages. You should see the following message above it.

By clicking on the Preview button, only you as an administrator will see how your page looks with the new Facebook page design with Timeline. You can then go through your Facebook page’s wall / Timeline to see how your status updates and other activity will look with the new layout. You can also add your Timeline cover photo, change your About information, and preview your apps / custom tabs to see how they look.

The best part is, until March 30th, you have the option to switch your admin view back to the old design or click the Publish Now button to publish your page with the new design.

2. See All of Your Pages to Preview

To see which pages you have not turned into the new Facebook pages preview, go to your Preview All Pages status page. Click on the Turn on Preview button for any of them to see how they will look with the new design, or click on the Preview All Pages button at the top to change them all over.

3. Timeline Cover Photo Dimensions

Algo que me parece muy útil es que podemos incluir tantas cuentas de Twitter como queramospara que se almacenen sus enlaces, configurando cada una de elllas de manera diferente para que siga sus propias reglas. Y otro aspecto relevante: si el tweet contiene algún hashtag, éste se convertirá automáticamente en una etiqueta de Delicious.

I often wonder what inspires a small group of people that, for the most part, didn’t really know each other, to hang out and try to create something new.

As a leader of this beloved team, I come and go from our offices in Calgary, Canada, to other destinations and back, only to return and be completely mesmerized.  I’m amazed by the diversity of our nimble team; the age, gender, experiences, backgrounds, and interests of our crew all contribute to a talented group of people. I love their brains, minds and entrepreneurial souls. There are no two of us alike and because of that debate and thinking is alive and well.

Every start-up team is unique, whether mission, values and culture… and I am continually impressed with how our team wears the badge of our cause.  A cause that wasn’t always that well defined.  We are not normal – normal people have jobs that take them to and from their place of work with a fairly good idea about what will make up their day.

Naturaleza implacable: los árboles lo invaden todo en esta galería de imágenes


Viviendo como vivimos sumidos en nuestras pequeñeces, y más pendientes del último meme o partido de fútbol, es normal que olvidemos cosas como el maltrato al que sometemos sistemáticamente al planeta… y la fuerza que tiene en realidad la naturaleza. Y es que, privados de un mantenimiento regular, los árboles lo invadirían todo, como muestran esta serie de fotos donde vemos el efecto del crecimiento vegetal en algunas invenciones humanas.

El aspecto de esos coches invadidos por las raíces y sumidos bajo un aluvión de ramas es ciertamente fantasmagórico. En documentales como “Un mundo sin nosotros” se nos mostraba como, de faltar la mano del hombre, pronto veríamos estos paísajes como algo común en nuestras ciudades. Como de momento parece que falta mucho para esa situación, disfrutad de estas imágenes tan peculiares y recordad la labor tan necesaria que realizan nuestros jardineros.
