Kellogg’s long-serving marketing director Kevin Brennan is leaving the company to take up a senior role at Premier Foods.

Brennan, who is also the general manager for snacks at the cereal giant, takes the role of general manager of Premier Foods’ meat free division, which includes the Quorn brand.
He started his career at Seagram Distillers before moving onto Cusson where he worked in its Chinese operations. He has been at Kellogg for 11 years, taking on the snacks portfolio in addition to marketing duties in October 2008.
Mike Taylor, Kellogg’s sales director has been appointed general manager snacks in addition to his sales director responsibilities.
A successor to Brennan’s marketing director role is being finalised. In the interim Peter Harrison, marketing controller has agree to step up as acting head of marketing, reporting to Greg Peterson, managing director UK marketing and sales.
Peterson said: ‘Kev leaves the company after 11 years including roles in Europe, Australia and the UK. During his 6 years as UK Marketing Director, Kev led Kellogg to regain market share and made Special K the number 1 brand in the category.’
